Event Registration

Event Timing and Scoring

We will provide the timing services for your event stress free! This includes us showing up race day with all of our gear, clocking the finishers as they cross the finish line and providing you with FAST, ACCURATE results! We use the MyLaps BibTag timing system. The same system used to time the Boston Marathon, Chicago, and many other of the largest races in the world. That’s right, we have teamed up with MyLaps Sports Timing, to bring you all of the awesome features we have noted here utilizing the bleeding edge technology of chip timing!

Below is exactly what we cover leading up to and on race day:

  • Importing and hand-entering all race participants into our system.
  • Race clock – We’ll have a race clock running for racers to see as they are approaching the finish line.
  • Finish Time Delivered via Text Message * – Any participant that provides their cell phone number during registration will have their finish time “texted” to them immediately upon crossing the finish line.  That’s right, no waiting around to see what your time was. You get it within SECONDS!
  • Live Results * – All spectators, runners, family that couldn’t make it, family on the other side of the world can watch the results LIVE on their PC or on their phone. All you have to do is visit live.dg-racing.net to watch the results tabulate right in front of your eyes in real time.
  • Finish Time Delivered via E-mail * – Just as we do with the text message, if we have your participants e-mail address, we’ll send them their finish time immediately after they cross the finish.  This will guarantee that if they didn’t provide their cell phone number, we’ll get their time to them in an e-mail.  We will NEVER use their e-mail address for any other purpose than to deliver their time.
  • Results Anytime – We can generate results for you any time during or after the race.
  • Video footage – We record every runner that crosses the finish in high def 1080P at 60 frames per second. If there’s any question whether you came before your buddy across that finish line? Video footage doesn’t lie! Our camera is synced with our software so you give us your approximate time, we can find your footage.
  • Beautifully Printed Results – We will print out very easily readable results at any time.  Yes, no more fixed width ugly fonts and results that are hard to follow.
  • Results On The Internet – We guarantee that you will have your results on the internet before we leave the race site *.
  • Electronic Results – Official results will be delivered to the race director printed and in digital format after the conclusion of the race.

DG Racing’s Finish Line Raffle

As we mentioned under Event Timing and Scoring, every participant that has an e-mail address or a cell phone will receive a text message and an e-mail with their finishing time.  That’s nice and all but we decided to give that little goody a kick!  At the race director’s discretion, we will allocate so many “Finish Line Raffle’s” to be handed out at the race.  When the race starts, certain finishers chosen completely at random will be selected to win the raffle.  The catch here is that you won’t know that you won unless you check your phone for a text message or your e-mail.  It will indicate in the message and e-mail that you’re a winner and you must bring your phone to the DG Racing Timing tent to receive your prize!  You can hold this raffle one of two ways.  The first option is that everyone in the race is automatically included when they register.  The second option is that you can provide the option to donate a certain amount at registration time to be included in the raffle.  The best part about that second option is that now you’ve just added more money to be donated to the charity for the event!  For example, say you are charging $1 to be included in the raffle and you have 500 runners registered for the race.  If 400 opt in for the raffle, that’s an extra $400!

Event Video From The Sky

That’s right! We now offer the ability to film the start and finish of your race from the sky via helicopter drone.
